Humanscale’s Faces in the Wild Raises $150K for WWF
The eighth annual Faces in the Wild art auction and fundraiser generated a total donation of $150,000—including matched donations from Humanscale—for World Wildlife Fund. The May 13, 2008, event raised a record-setting $75,000 in bids and donations alone—more than five times the sum collected during the 2007 event. More than 200 guests attended the auction in Humanscale’s Asian tropics-themed New York City showroom.
Humanscale extends its deepest gratitude to the artists who donated their talents and materials, as well as the art and wildlife lovers who bid generously to support a tremendous cause.
Humanscale founder and CEO Bob King has served on WWF’s National Council since 1999. As a company, Humanscale is committed to environmental sustainability and continually strives to design, engineer and manufacture products that consume less of the Earth’s limited resources.
